If you are a visitor of Johannesburg and fancy a bit of a change, then I would recommend that you considering one of the most amazing places you will visit, Africa's Kingdom of Pleasure, also better known as Sun City. About 2 hours drive out of Johannesburg, deep in the rugged bushveld, you will find this amazing place. Situated in the heart of an ancient volcano a very unique experience awaits. Offering a multitude of facilites to suit everyone, you will never run out of things to keep yourself busy. From Casino's to watersports, to Nature drives where you can spot the Big 5. Sun City has it all. Stay on one of the many luxurious hotels or if you want, just visit it for the day. I would recommend visiting it, even if just for a day, its fabulous! Transfers to Sun City leave Johannesburg International Airport daily at 09:30, 13:00 and 15h00. Sun City transfers to Johannesburg leave Sun City daily at 10:00, 12:30 and 14:30.

During our trip to joburg we decided to book 5 days in Sun City at the Cabanas. The place will blow your mind. By day you have the waterparks which are out of this world including The Valley of the Waves with a man made beach and giant artificial waves and Temple of Courage - swimmers drop a heart stopping 17 metres down a shute and under a bridge before splashing into a small pool at the foot of the slide (hold on to your nuts lads its g-force time). you also have the world famous golf courses, jetskis and the game drives. We took a 6am game drive and were lucky enough to see everything apart from a leopard. In the evening you have the Casinos restaurants and night clubs. There is everything to do here. Only negative was the big baboons that go tearing around the complex and can scare the s**t out of you, but don`t worry too much - they only eat Australians...
