AVERAGE RATING
They offer a host of water activities for those who like to get physical. For example Pulau Tioman (Pahang), Pulau Redang (Terengganu) and Pulau Rawa (Johor) are popular spots for scuba diving and snorkelling. Pulau Perhentian (Terengganu), which consists of two islands – Pulau Perhentian Besar and Pulau Perhentian Kecil – have beautiful coral gardens within its waters. Pulau Langkawi, which is famous for the Mahsuri legend, is also a duty-free shopping haven. This paradise also offers several attractions besides its beaches. There’s Telaga Tujuh (Seven Wells), Tasik Dayang Bunting (Lake Of the Pregnant Maiden), wildlife sanctuary Pulau Singa Besar and Pulau Payar Marine Park, to name a few. There’s something for everyone at these islands. If you have lots of energy to burn, you can enjoy water sports like sailing, windsurfing, deep-sea fishing, kayaking, snorkelling and scuba diving. And for those who are looking for a relaxing holiday, the beautiful beaches with their awe-inspiring golden sunset/sunrise will leave you with many memories to cherish. |
Luscious Lankawi

| The Andaman in Lankawi was a jawdropping hotel for location and wildlife, if you love being secluded and in a resort. Having said that it didn't feel like a traditional resort, it had a more sophisticated edge. We found the food and drink to be expensive. Compared to prices we pay in London! Service was top drawer. Bathrooms were of the highest quality and spacious before the renovation planned for this year. At first I was disappointed with the balcony but after getting used to all the wildlife I realised it was best not to have one and enjoy relaxing from the hotel bar. We enjoyed staying here. We felt very special and absorbed all the luxuries. We're glad we only stayed for 3 nights, anymore and I think the novelty may have worn off and the expense would have been exorbiant. It is a nice luxury short stay. The pool is a nice size but very shaded by the rainforest-understandably as you are in a rainforest but for a sun worshipper it isn't ideal. The wildlife here is amazing.I've never been to a place where you feel like you are living within their world instead of the other way around. |
